Profile Files
Census profiles present information from the 2021 Census of Population for various levels of geography, including provinces and territories, census metropolitan areas, communities and census tracts. Profiles include characteristics such as population, age, sex, dwellings, families, marital status and language.

Population and Dwelling Counts
These tables provide population and dwelling counts established by the 2021 Census of Population. The levels of geography covered are Canada, provinces and territories, and other geographic areas including census subdivisions (municipalities), census metropolitan areas, and census agglomerations.

Topic-Based Tabulations
This series of cross-tabulations presents a portrait of Canada based on the various census topics including Age and Sex, Marital Status, Families and Households, and Language. They range in complexity and are available for various levels of geography. Content varies from a simple overview of the country to more complex cross-tabulations, and can include current and previous census data.

Custom Tabulations
These tables were purchased by the Map & Data Library to address data needs among the U of T community. These tables were then made available to the public, per the Statistics Canada open license agreement.

Highlight Tables
These tables provide information highlights by topic via key indicators for various levels of geography. The tables allow users to perform simple rank and sort functions.
