The Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan "fact tank" that provides information on the issues, attitudes and trends shaping America and the world. It conducts public opinion polling, demographic research, content analysis and other data-driven social science research. It does not take positions on policy issues.

The Pew Research Center website presents the latest findings in topic areas including U.S. politics, media & news, social trends, religion, internet & tech (formerly known as the Internet & American Life Project), science, and hispanics, as well as conducting global polls (formerly known as the Global Attitudes Project). The Pew Research Center also provides downloadable survey microdata for surveys going back to 2000 (look for the "datasets" page within each topic area).
