National Health Expenditure Trends provides an overview of how much is spent on health care annually, in what areas money is spent and on whom, and where the money comes from. It features comparative expenditure data at the provincial/territorial and international levels, as well as Canadian health spending trends from 1975 to the present.
The latest version is available from the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). The Map & Data Library has archived versions from 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009, which are available upon request.
