South African social attitudes survey, 2014

The South African Social Attitudes Survey (SASAS) is a nationally representative, repeated cross-sectional survey that has been conducted annually by the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) since 2003. In 2014 - 2015 SASAS, in cooperation with the ESS, developed and fielded a survey where questions from the ESS rotating modules on “Social inequalities in health” (ESS7), “Understandings and Evaluations of Democracy” (ESS6) and “Trust in Police and Criminal Courts” (ESS5) were included.
