This atlas of the new cities which covers the period of 1968-1999, was produced by the regional Directorate of Island-of-France of INSEE, the Economic and Statistical Department of the direction of the Economic affairs and international of the ministry for the Equipment, and the interdepartmental Programme of History and evaluation of the French new cities (HEVN).This work presents a statistical analysis of the nine French new cities covering the period 1968-1999: Cergy-Pontoise, Evry, Marne-the-Valley, Saint-Quentin-in-Yvelines, Sénart, Isle d' Abeau, Banks of the Pond of Berre, Valley-of-Reuil and Villeneuve d' Ascq.
