The Map & Data Library can help you access and use the technology needed to work with our data and maps.
Our computer lab provides access to a range of GIS software, statistical software and data visualization software. You can also get your own copy of Esri software by requesting a license. You can also request an NVivo license from us.
If you're looking to learn how to use a new software program, have a look at our tutorials section. U of T users also have access to Esri Virtual Campus courses. You can also come and visit our reference area on the 5th floor of Robarts Library, where graduate student employees can help you learn new skills and troubleshoot problems..
If you're working with maps, we have three scanners available, including a large-format drum scanner.
GPS units are also available for borrowing.
