Econnections: linking the environment and the economy

Describes the concepts, data sources and methods used to date in the development of the Canadian System of Environmental and Resource Accounts (CSERA), which helps quantify the links between the environment and the economy. It contains statistics on natural resource stocks, environmental protection expenditures by governments, use of materials and energy, environmental protection expenditures by businesses, use of land resources and waste production.

Publication was accompanied by CD-ROM which is at the Map & Data Library. CD-ROM also includes full text of 'Econnections: linking the environment and the economy: concepts, sources and methods of the Canadian System of the Environmental and Resource accounts' (16-505-GPE).
