WHO mortality database

The WHO Mortality Database is a compilation of mortality data by age, sex and cause of death, as reported annually by Member States from their civil registration systems.

The most recent version of the database is available online from the World Health Organization (link below). Note that the Map & Data Library has also archived a copy of the 2008 edition, which is also available upon request.
