This includes selected revenue, expense, profit and balance sheet items, financial ratios, and employment data on small businesses in Canada, and this link allows users to generate reports based on a range of criteria. Small businesses are defined as those having annual revenue between $30,000 and $5,000,000 ($5,000,000 to $20,000,000 can also be selected for reports). The information is presented by 4-digit SIC (1980 Standard Industrial Classification). The reference year is two years prior to the release date.
