ArcGIS Data and Maps for ArcGIS Geocoding Locator Files

Data and Maps for ArcGIS provides several address locator files for geocoding addresses in Canada and United States with ArcMap and ArcCatalog. NOTE: To use the composite locator files, you will need to download their component locators first (indicated in the file description on the download screen).

Note for file "Composite locator for geocoding in Canada": The address is first passed through the Street_Addresses_CAN.loc. If it does not find a match, then it is passed through the Postal_CAN.loc
Note for file "Composite locator for geocoding in the United States": The address is first passed through the Street_Addresses_US.loc. If it does not find a match, then it is passed through the Postal_US.loc
Note for file "Composite locator for geocoding in North America": The address is first passed through the Composite_US.loc. If it does not find a match, then it is passed through the Composite_CAN.loc

Note: These files use the Classic ArcGIS Pro locator schema. As such, they are not compatible with ArcGIS Pro 3.0 or greater.
