Dataverse is an open source application to publish, share, reference, extract and analyze research data. It facilitates making data available to others, and allows you to replicate others work. Researchers, data authors, publishers, data distributors, and affiliated institutions all receive appropriate credit. The Harvard Dataverse Network is open to all scientific data from all disciplines worldwide. It includes the world's largest collection of social science research data.
You will be required to make an account to deposit data (note to U of T researchers considering depositing data: there is a Canadian-hosted instance of the Dataverse plaform, called Borealis, available as well https://borealisdata.ca/). Many datasets deposited by researchers are openly available for others to download.
