In the Community: Registration Opens for the Compute Ontario Summer School
Our friends have just opened registration for their very popular annual event, the Compute Ontario Summer School!
From June 1 to June 19, the Compute Ontario Summer School (COSS) offers around 50 data-related/programming courses. Delivered by experts in the field, these sessions cover a wide range of topics including AI, machine learning, bioinformatics, GPU programming, advanced research computing basics, high-performance computing tools, programming languages, neuroanalytics, visualization, research data management, and more. All of these hands-on courses are online, free, and range from a couple hours to multiple-days long.
COSS 2026 is presented by ACENET, CAC, SciNet, SHARCNET, in partnership with Bioinformatics.ca, Calcul Québec, Digital Research Alliance of Canada, HPC4Health, Ontario Brain Institute, OICR, RDM Network of Experts, and Scholars Portal. This summer school is primarily intended for the Canadian research community.
