• An Introduction to Programming for Absolute Beginners Using Python: Part 2
  • Monday March 16, 2pm-4:30pm

These workshops offer a beginner-friendly introduction to programming that blends instruction with in-class activities that help you learn through practice. 

In Part 1, we’ll cover:

• How to use Jupyter Notebooks to run Python code
• The basics of Python programming language
• How to write your first functions and programs
• Where to find additional resources

 In Part 2, we’ll move on to:

• Additional data structures: lists and dictionaries
• Using boolean operators to control flow
• How to work with text strings
• Reading and writing files

There’ll be time at the end of questions and discussion.
