Beginning May 1, 2024, the 5th floor of Robarts will be under renovation.
As of July, 2026, MDL is in the process of moving back into our new space, and our services are currently as follows:
- MDL services are available virtually and by appointment on the 5th floor of Robarts. Please contact us for assistance. No drop-in access will be available until September 8.
- The MDL computer lab is temporarily unavailable while we prepare it for the reopening. Apologies for the inconvenience. You can see what the new lab will look like and what software it will provide here.
- MDL print collections (paper maps, atlases & books) are accessible by request only. Please fill out the retrieval request form. Please note that certain atlases & books may not be able to be retrieved - we'll do our best, but cannot make any promises.
- Update August 18, 2025: we are boxing up some materials for our forthcoming move, so we cannot retrieve books or atlases until our move is complete. You can still request our maps.

- The Temp drive (K:\ drive) is gone. No temp drive is available in the 4th floor electronic classroom.
