Map & Data Library to reopen May 2026

As many of you know, the Map & Data Library has been under renovation since May 1, 2024. Nearly two years later, we are finally preparing to move into our new space on the 5^th floor of Robarts Library later this semester! There will be a soft reopening on May 1, 2026, with a formal reopening planned for fall 2026. 

What the new MDL space will mean for you:

• Drop-in access will resume! You can come by anytime Robarts is open to work on our computers with access to our suite of specialized software. Map & Data Library staff will be on hand to assist you during MDL hours.
• A refreshed Map & Data Consultation Area with 26 updated computers.
• A new, larger Teaching Lab with updated equipment
• New study spaces and bookable collaboration rooms
