Plan of Toronto Harbour Lake Ontario surveyed July and August 1881

Thumbnail for Plan of Toronto Harbour Lake Ontario surveyed July and August 1881

One image comes from Library and Archives Canada's collection of microfiche held at the Map and Data library at the University of Toronto. The second image is a reproduction of the bathymetry and the shoreline of Toronto Harbour and the islands. As well, contours have been created by the transcribers of the map. The map seems to have been created by someone in the Geology department at the University of Toronto but the date of creation is unknown. It seems to have been done a number of years ago as seen with the type of ink used to label the map's bathymetric readings.
